the 2002 FCI Asian International Dog Show,
held by the Japan Kennnel Club, Inc.
It is one of the biggest dog shows in the world!

The judge Ellis Hulme (Tongemoor) wrote
the following in the Papillon Club's Newsletter:
"Second, with an Award of Merit, was Swedish bred Int.Ch Ekbacken's Emil, a small dainty, quality 5 years old RS/W with the most beautiful head, eye and expression and the longest fringes of the whole entry."

Emil was born from Ekbacken's first Papillon litter.
He finished his title only 10,5 months old.
His littermates have been shown in conformation
and they look very promising.
We are truly happy with our first Papillon litter!

While living in America, Emil was owned
and successfully campaigned by Ruth Ann Ramsey.

Emil is now living in Japan, and is owned by Kyoko Ozeki.
We are excited to follow his career in Japan.
We wish you continued success!

During Emil's first year in Japan,
he won many Best Of Breeds, and many Group 1.
His biggest accomplishment was, when he won Reserv King
at the 1999 Asian International dog show.



Before moving to Japan,
Emil was ranked as the # 3 Papillon of America!

(System II, counting each dog of any breed he defeated.)

Emil was also ranked as The #4 best Papillon of America!
(System I, counting each Papillon he defeated.)

Emil's Success In The Show Rings:

On Valentine's Day February 14th, 1998,
in New York, New York.
At The Papillon Club of America, National Specialty,
Emil made the cut both in Breed and the Sweepstakes,
only 13,5 months old. 25 Champions were entered.




As of April, 1998, Emil was listed as the 9th Best Toy Dog
at the American Top dogs all-breed 1998 rankings,
for Region 6, Southwest.
Emil is also currently listed as the number 1 Papillon
for Region 6, Southwest.




July, 1998:

Emil is currently ranked as

The #3 best Papillon of America!
(System II: counting each dog of any breed he defeated.)


Emil is also ranked as The #4 best Papillon of America!

Emil wins Reserve King,
at the 1999 FCI Asian International Dog Show,
held by the Japan Kennnel Club, Inc.
Held at Tokyo Big Sight.
2,564 dogs were entered, among 113 breeds,
which makes it one of the biggest dog shows in the world!

Emil is winning Best Of Breed
at almost every show, he is entered in.
His latest Best Of Breed was at
FCI Shiba International Dog Show,
November 28th, 1999.
