# 1 Papillon in Japan 1999 BIS. INT. AM. JKC. Champion Ekbacken's Emil I Lonneberga is: the 1999 Pedigree Award Winner! Emil won Reserve King, at the 1999 FCI Asian International Dog Show, held by the Japan Kennnel Club, Inc. It is one of the biggest dog shows in the world! Emil won Best Of Breed at FCI Tokyo Int'l Dog Show, November 3, 1999. Emil received Award Of Merit at FCI Osaka Int'l Dog Show, Dec. 12, 1999. Congratulations to Emil's son Queen Bless Special Challenger !! He won "Baby" BIS, from puppy class 4-6 months on November 14th, 1999. Summer of 1998, Emil was ranked as the 3rd Most Successful Papillon in USA!

# 1 Papillon in Japan 1999 BIS. INT. AM. JKC. Champion Ekbacken's Emil I Lonneberga got an Award of Merit at the 2002 FCI Asian International Dog Show, held by the Japan Kennnel Club, Inc. It is one of the biggest dog shows in the world! The judge Ellis Hulme (Tongemoor) wrote the following in the Papillon Club's Newsletter: "Second, with an Award of Merit, was Swedish bred Int.Ch Ekbacken's Emil, a small dainty, quality 5 years old RS/W with the most beautiful head, eye and expression and the longest fringes of the whole entry."

On Sunday December 1st, 2002, Minneapolis Kennel Club, Inc. Minneapolis, MN Judge: Mrs Dorothy Welsh Bard won Best of Winners and 2 points! On Saturday November 30th, 2002, Minneapolis Kennel Club, Inc. Minneapolis, MN Judge: Mrs Jacqueline L. Stacy Bard won Winners and 2 points!

On Sunday December 1st, 2002, Minneapolis Kennel Club, Inc. Minneapolis, MN Judge: Mrs Dorothy Welsh Ekbacken's Avalon won Reserve Winners! Congratulations to owner and handler Gary and Amy Clauson! On Saturday November 30th, 2002, Minneapolis Kennel Club, Inc. Minneapolis, MN Judge: Mrs Jacqueline L. Stacy Ekbacken's Avalon won her class 12-18 months! 1st: Ekbacken's Avalon handled by Gary Clauson. 2nd: Haremet's Sparkling Eyes handled by Chris Jones. 3rd: Nan-Car Born To Fly handled by Lynn Kyle. Congratulations to owner and handler Gary and Amy Clauson!

October 19-20, 2002, 3 Shows in Hutchinson, MN. Judges: Ms. Jane Roppolo, LA, USA, Mrs. Margaret E. Robertson, B.C, Canada and Mrs. Janet R. Wilcox, WA, USA. Bard won Best of Breed under all three judges. He is now an International Champion! The judges' written comments were: "Lovely example of breed. Nice size. Lovely head. Dark and well set eyes. Pleasing head. Slightly longer than tall. Excellent top line. Excellent texture and attractive color. Very sound movement." Thank You, Judges! Owner / Handler: Mrs. Ulrika Petersson.

August, 2002: Albert Lea, Minnesota Ekbacken's Avalon won Toy Group 3 Puppy! Congratulations to her owners and handler Gary Clauson!!

Summer, 2002: Queen Bless JP Natl Show Time has started his show career in USA. So far he has won 5 points and 1 Major! Thank you judges, and thank you Chie for this beautiful boy!

Summer, 2002: Ekbacken's Avalon, Ekbacken's Lady Of The Lake and Ekbacken's Monark are starting their show careers. We wish them the best of luck. Keep up the good work!

May 19, 2002. Pepe is an International Champion, and he also won the Toy Group 4! Congratulations to Don Clapp!!

April 13, 2002: Ekbacken's Camelot goes Best of Winners for 2 points, on his first show from Bred By Exhibitor class. Ekbacken's Vincent was Reserve Winners.

February 3, 2002: Merlin wins a 4 point Major and Best of Breed over a Special! Merlin's official name is now: Champion Zeley's Merlin At Ekbacken Congratulations to his breeder, and his new owner!
